Please help me im soooo scared its awful i panic!!!!?

I have acne and my doctor gave me a really good but quite harsh night mask for it which helped a lot.. i became clear in a few days but i noticed that my skin was becoming extremly dry and it was pealing a loooot... i looked awful... after a few days i thought that the skin is dry enough to peel it off and i made a mistake... now half my cheeks are pink,in blood and it stings sooo much.. plz help me!!!!! what to do ???? im so scared that it will be like that forever... i scar easily ... what to do to heal it more quickly? plz help me im desperate
