IPhone 4 case trouble?

Hi there. I recently purchased the iPhone 4 otterbox reflex case. It's a two part case. Basically my question is it's really tightly fitted onto my iPhone which worries me. Is it damaging my iPhone? Because it's tight. I know it sounds dumb but I'm just worried. Getting it on was trouble because it pealed my screen protector and now I have air bubbles around the edges. But it's no biggy. Thanks let me know.
