How to get rid of Dark Spots on face?

I am a White Male and have black spots on my face that i had since i was younger. Now i tried to use chemical peal twice to get rid of them. But they just keep coming back. I want them removed fast. What can i use to get rid of them they are pretty Dark i would also maybe like to know what its called?
