How do i get a lot of points easily in yahoo answers like the 'top contributor's have?

I agree with the first user, these points are worthless. But usually users (like myself) gain large numbers of points from both time spent on the site, and earning best answer on a daily basis. If you are consistent each day or every other day then you will earn points by answering questions and earning best answer. After a while those points begin to add up on a daily and weekly basis. The more questions you answer, the more opportunities you get for earning best answer, and the more points you get in the process. It is also based on time spent. I have been a user for 4.5 years and to many users that is quite a long time. Over that time period I spent a lot of time answering questions just for fun and to pass the time, and over those years the points began to add up. But no matter how long you have been a user here, it all hinges upon how frequent you answer questions and whether or not you earn best answer.
